Fiera del Bue Grasso e del Manzo

This fair celebrates one of the most representative economic activities of our town. Since the XVII century Nizza Monferrato has indeed been known in the whole region for the rearing of oxes and beef of the local breed.

Program
Nowadays, the cattle heads are still exposed in Piazza Garibaldi during this special event, where the best ones are awarded and eventually sold. After this, different dishes with beef meat are served in the Foro Boario, among those the Gran Bollito Misto (boiled beef meat after the traditional recipe).
