Since a couple of years ago, Nizza has become the Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin to the Barbera Superiore produced in the local area. Two days of wine tastings, both guided and free, are the best occasion to celebrate one of the most representative products of our town.

May 11th from 5 p.m. until May 12th at 8 p.m.
Foro Boario
Various producers and wineries from all over the Piedmont region serve all kinds of Barbera DOC, Barbera Superiore and Nizza DOCG. The tastings are unlimited, after buying the specific tasting glass at the entrance.
Throughout the city centre, in addition to other stands which serve local wines and typical dishes, a market of local food and craft products is also set up.
The event is organised by the Enoteca Regionale di Nizza, the Associazione Produttori del Nizza – Barbera d’Asti e and the local Associazione Pro Loco.
